How do I get Sentinel alerts in Discord?
In Discord, open the channel's settings, go to Integrations, create a webhook and copy its URL. Paste that into your Sentinel profile settings and save. Alerts start flowing immediately, and you can send a test notification to confirm.
Which plans include Discord alerts?
Discord notifications are included on the Starter plan and above. The free plan includes email alerts.
Can Sentinel monitor a game server, not just a website?
Yes. Ping monitors check that a host answers ICMP, and TCP port monitors confirm a specific port is accepting connections, which covers game servers, voice servers and most self-hosted services. Both alert through Discord like any other check.
Do I need to add a bot to my server?
No. Sentinel posts through a standard channel webhook, which you create and control from Discord's own settings. Delete the webhook and the integration is gone, nothing lingers with permissions.
