Telegram is where a lot of small teams, freelancers and agency owners actually talk. It's on the phone, it's fast, and it doesn't need a workspace or a seat. Sentinel's bot posts the same alerts it sends to Slack: what went down, from which region, why, and a link to the incident.

One link, no bot to build
Sentinel runs the bot. Add a chat, open the link, tap Start. For a group or channel, add the bot and send one command. No BotFather, no tokens, no chat IDs.

How do I connect Telegram to Sentinel?
On your team's Integrations page, add a Telegram chat and give it a name. Open the link it shows and tap Start in Telegram. For a group or channel, add the Sentinel bot to it and send the /connect command from the row. The chat connects within seconds.
Do I need to create my own bot?
No. Sentinel runs the bot. You never touch BotFather, tokens or chat IDs.
Can different chats get different alerts?
Yes. Each connected chat chooses critical, warning and info for itself, and every monitor's own notification routing has a Telegram row you can untick for that monitor.
What happens if the bot is removed from a group?
Telegram tells Sentinel and the chat is paused. Add the bot back and press Test on the integrations page to resume.
Which plans include Telegram?
All of them, including Free.
Does Telegram replace email or Slack alerts?
No. It's one more channel. Every monitor's routing decides which channels get which severities, so Telegram can carry everything, only outages, or nothing for a given monitor.
